In addition, I have taught executive MBAs, study-abroad students, and overseen a variety of independent-study topics. My teaching style emphasizes the creation of an interactive, team-based environment in which students are encouraged to become actively involved in the learning process.

I am happily married to the lovely Dawn Carlson and have three kids: Madeline, Claire, and Lucas. Here are a few family photos. My hobbies, other than having fun with my kids, include sailing, old cars, almost anything Belgian, and an ongoing quest to find the perfect hamburger.
